Guys .. im stuck deciding b/w 2 things..

Should i go bigger intercooler or alta air diverter?? I dont plan to track my car..

Im thinking of picking up a GRS IC whilst im o/seas.. if not i'll do a custom job i rekon.

well if you're not going to run the track, i'd stick with just the diverter. for the TMIC you'd be laying out some big money...

i actually phoned a few reputable mechanics here on sydney and asked about the IC and if a custom front mount was possible.. lol its possible but would cost sooooooooo much money.

i guess its an air diverter then..

i got the alta air diverter, i think the best thing is using it during summer,

you can really cool the intercooler by using the water spray ... really help during those 35 degree plus day in sydney.

there is a pretty awesome front mount someone sells...i think its got like a carbon fiber duct coming down the front of the engine and the two factory ducts to the FMIC

There's also another company making one that's in the August '05 GoMINI magazine. But I don't have the issue here with me to see who it is.

Edit: Found it! Dastek in Scotland is making a FMIC but no other real info other than the GoMINI writeup. Their website is here.
