I'm undecided whether to put one across the rear window, so following cars can read it (unless I'm top-down ), or to put them on both sides, so pasing traffic get to benefit. Problem is, with a Cool Blue car, the white stickers don't look so good on the paintwork.....

A pity there was no colour choice......

Looking forwards to seeing them, Morty. Where will you be fixing them?

I tried putting the supplied stickers on my rear screen, but they looked so tacky and cheap I ripped them straight off again I really wish they had made them of separate die-cut letters, that would have looked much better.

Oh well, you'll be able to recognise Minerva at Zandvoort - probably the ONLY MINI without the stickers

No a lot of us have removed the stickers too because like you we think they're a bit cheap.

So we ordered some 'sortlke' with seperate letters and in matching car colors. (Silver grey, red, white, blue...)

Think I'll put it above my door .. like the GP number

Several of us are travelling over from the UK on the morning of Thursday 21st June. We are meeting up at Marques Avenue designer outlet centre, exit 41 from the A16 (one stop south of the Eurotunnel junction), not far from Cite Europe (easier parking than Cite Europe).

We will be leaving there to convoy to Zandvoort at about 10.30 to 11 am and then possibly having another pick up point in Dunkerque.

It would be great if we could meet up with anyone else travelling that morning and arrive in style!!

We haven't checked on what time we'll leave but it could be pretty early.
Maybe a stop at dealer Renova in Breda, but we'll probably drive up to Zandvoort directly and then also check in to the hotel.

@ Jayne,
The convoy from Breda (Netherlands) may be a good idea. The gathering starts at 9 AM with the local MINI dealer Renova and we leave at 11 AM for Zandvoort in the convoy.

Breda is just over the border when you enter The Netherlands. I think it is not wise to travel further north from here before 10 or 11 AM because of the major traffic jams you will then encounter!

I heard that there have already been quite some (Dutch and foreign) registrations for this convoy, however I cannot tell the exact numbers.

@ Morty
What are your plans with regards to timing? You don't want to get caught in the major traffic jams around Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam, do you? Just let me know for some advice if needed.

Regards,
Marcel

ah you are leaving already at 11 towards MINI United?
I heard at 1 or 2PM at first.

So I thought with a convoy of + 100 cars it would be easier to drive up directly instead.
I was actually thinking of leaving at 10am in Antwerp.

Date?

Are people traveling to Zandvoort on the 21st or the 22nd?

My depart from Luxembourg will be dictated by spouse's ability to get the Friday off work (or not ). My boss has already given me the Friday off

Here is the information on the Renova Mini United tour.
Note the bold text for the date of the tour, and the time of departure.

Quote:
Renova MINI (sponsor of the Mixed MINI Club) is organising the MINI United Tour on Friday 22nd June. The aim is for as many MINI’s as possible to meet up at Renova MINI in Breda, and then to drive in one large convoy to the MINI United festival in Zandvoort. MINI’s can meet at Renova from 9.00am, where tea and coffee will be available. A lot of MINI’s from outside the Netherlands are expected, since Breda is not far from the border.

Renova is putting on various attractions, so there will be everything the MINI owner could wish for. There will also be a small gift for every MINI (goodie bag). The convoy will leave about 11.00am to drive to the festival park at the Zandvoort race track. Once there, everyone is of course free to go their own way. You can register yourself at the website of MINI United for the event.

Let’s MINI!
Renova MINI / Mixed MINI Club

Regards
Marcel
