Attention all drivers !!!

Our Dutch local law enforcement is wellknown for organising police speed traps during all major automotive events.

So when you are in the approximity of Zandvoort, DO NOT drive too fast.
Especially at the part where you just got of the highway and need to decelerate to 80 km/u.

Also, in The Netherlands, there are trajectory speed traps around some of the large cities. These are announced by the signs " Trajectcontrole" and they check your average speed for a couple of kilometers. I'm talking 100% checks here, so don't get caught

Specifically these trajectcontroles are around Rotterdam A20+A13, on the A4 highway from The Hague to Amsterdam (vise versa) and around Amsterdam (A10 ). The police officers really love hiding in the bushes to take your photograph in a sneaky way.

hei, thnx for the info, but as i know all the other mini-drivers they are more
on cruising than accelerating to speed limits

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm not going to have a co-pilot for Mini United next
week.

I'm still going to go, but it means I've got a spare entry pass up for grabs if
anyone is interested?

It also means that I'll be there by myself so it would be cool if anyone wants to have
a MINI2 meet-up over there.

Think you'll have a better chance to meet up on friday.

Me and the gang are probably wearing club gear (MINIACS) so it should be fairly easy to spot us.
Or just pass by the bar; guess we might be at the counter

There a lot of Belgians attending... but I don't know about the grouping.
I know the MINIACS club is forming convoys on friday and saturday.. the rest is mostly going with the dealers.

Good question - and how do we recognise fellow MINI2-ers? Is there a special handshake, or must you wear a certain item of clothing?

I honestly wouldn't know how to recognize each other.
During day I'll probably wear my MINIACS club T-shirts but at night probably not.
Maybe just select a spot somewhere at a certain hour or so and put up some pictures ..
