I am envious of you lucky people who will be able to attend MINI United. I'm on the wrong side of an ocean and unable to be away from work, so have fun for me, please.

I have noticed everyone is discussing their accomodations for the event, and I hate to change the subject, but I have a couple of quick questions. Does anyone know if they will be selling MINI United merchandise at the dealers? I have family in Amsterdam who can get things for me, but I am wondering what will be available and where to purchase.

Any help will be appreciated.

At this point I have no idea. MINI United hasn't even been officially announced. Typically with large events like these, they usually sell MINI branded or event branded merchandise on location. Time to bring the BIG wallet

. I will be sure to ask my dealer after the official release.

Alot of folks in the local MINI community will end up getting custom vinyl graphics for thier MINI's advertising the event for free. I plan on doing the same. They usually place them on the windows.

As soon as we find out, we will let you know. Good question though.

I'll keep you in mind if I find someone that needs a co-pilot. Are you coming alone, where would you be flying into, Schipol (Amsterdam's Main Airport) ?

Be sure to post some arrival times when they are known, I'm sure some of our Dutch NewMINIclub members are willing to pick some MINI United friends up from the airport so they can join in the MINI drive to MINI United

in the UK and Ireland thread i have already got quotes from Eurotunnel for a group deal. I will pursue it more once we have an itinery from MINI in a few days - in the mean time - yes very happy to have booked a hotel ahead of time and to have secured a twin makes life very comfy for me and Jez
