ride?

Anyone want to give me a ride from the Eurail Station in Amsterdam to Zandvoort? I will be traveling Europe for the summer and when I heard about this I changed my plans so I could attend. How far is it from Amsterdam to Zandvoort? Any Mini drivers got an empty seat? I just couldn't imagine coming to this kind of event and not arriving in a Mini. Can't wait!!!

I don't think Amsterdam is that far, but unfortunately I guess we're not passing it.
Maybe someone of the Dutch gang will be more in proximity.

You can get a train straight to Zandvoort - only 13 minutes away. I will be arriving with my 2 others from the UK, about 11am, but if you need a lift and the luchtime is alright, be happy to pick you up - pm me if interested and swap mobile for sms

Got a question for the official registered people.

When registering for the welcome package, I got a payment details e-mail and should afterwards get a confirmation e-mail. Till today I still haven't received the 2nd e-mail.
Anyone of you who hasn't got it either or anyone who did receive it ??

As far as I know the payment details e-mail is all you will get. your info pack should arrive shortly before you go

I'm not a regular poster here, just a frequent reader. Below is a notification for a pre-meet that a MINI dealer in the south of The Netherlands will be organising:

Renova MINI (sponsor of the Mixed MINI Club) is organising the MINI United Tour on Friday 22nd June. The aim is for as many MINI’s as possible to meet up at Renova MINI in Breda, and then to drive in one large convoy to the MINI United festival in Zandvoort. MINI’s can meet at Renova from 9.00am, where tea and coffee will be available. A lot of MINI’s from outside the Netherlands are expected, since Breda is not far from the border.

This may be a nice opportunity for people coming in from Belgium, France, UK (via France) and even further, to team-up and drive together the last hour and a half to the Zandvoort Circuit. I already signed up..

But knowing the most of us only arrive friday night (still working friday) I guess they'll drive up directly.

Quite right, Morty. Best I can hope for is to get away from Luxembourg by about 4pm, so we'll be arriving quite late on Friday evening
