I just spoke with Fedor of the Russian group we met in Stockholm last summer. And he told me their plan of dates for their trip down to MINI United. They will pass through Stockholm, Göteborg and then to Copenhagen. So it would be cool if as many as possible of us can make them feel welcome on their journey down.

The details are:

• 16 Russian MINIs - from Moscow and St Petersburg
• 18th June - arrive Stockholm around 08.00-09.00 on MS Symphony (Silja Line)
• they will stay in Stockholm until about 13.00
• 18th June - stay the night in Göteborg. Hotel was something like Vadstena I think
• 19th June - stay the night in Copenhagen
• 20th June - arrive at MINI United

Post here and Fedor (Hochuva) will be along to reply and comment soon enough

Was planning on maybe doing something sortlike during summer, but then the other way round.
(starting in Belgium and then to Latvia and so on ...)

Then make it a circular trip around the Baltic. Return on a ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm then back down through Sweden Could be fun and would be great to see you again Morty!!

Hmmm not actually sure who we're going to get to meet you. I just realised it's next Monday morning you arrive - and I'll definitely be working then

It was nice meeting the Russians at MINI UNITED ....
Also nice to meet the president of the Russian club this morning.

I took some pictures of a few Russian (ladies) at the party on saturday and will post them here later on. Just need to get all those pictures sorted

I agree with Morty - it was great to see so many Russians at Zandvoort, and how nicely you had all decorated your cars - what an amazing journey! I feel very sorry for the MINI that had suffered the bad windscreen damage - hope you get it fixed soon!

I met dominic and the rest of the gang in Göteborg we all sat down (like 40 pers) at a prawn resterant in gothenburg city.

It was also really nice to meet them at mini united.

P.S. a couple weeks ago, a convoy of diferrent cars from GB been to Moscow. We were taking care of them. You could read about it over here (as well, you will see the photo of Dmitry and me with our cars close to Kremlin)
