| Headlight Deflector for Visiting UK with a European MINI? Simple question here, hope it isn't too stupid. I'm aware that, if a UK driver (RHD) vivists Europe, he can buy some "beam deflectors" to adjust the headlights so not to dazzle oncoming drivers. But I have never seen anyone selling beam deflectors that can be used by us LHD drivers when visitng UK. Have I missed something? Or is it as simple as buying the ones for sale in the UK, and mounting tem upseide down? Thanks for any advice Ian Not here much any more |

| Wow - that's some trip! No issues with your lights that I can think of (you drive on the same side as we do in Continental Europe, so no need to adjust them. Depending on where you are going, there are regulations about having first aid kit, spare bulbs, high-visibility jackets and your vehicle documentation etc in the car. Make sure your insurance covers you outside the USA. Our speeds are in km not miles - and of course the limits are different in each country, and depending on the type of road and even whether or not it's raining..... When you coming? And where are you going to visit? I'm sure there are many MINI2 fans will be delighted to welcome you.... Ian Not here much any more |
