| The Element of Suprise | Thank you for the hello's! I went to the website... it's nice looking... but I am ashamed to say that even though I know how to speak greek fluently, I never went to greek school to really learn how to read in greek I was born in Thessaloniki but grew up here in Chicago. Are the MINI pretty popular in Greece now? The last time I was there, in 2001, the Smart was very popular. |

Offline | The base price, for the S, is about 25k euro. The Cooper starts from 19.6k euro and the One which you don't get it over there from 16.6k euro. The diesel is not imported here. |

| The Element of Suprise | It was still less expensive. We were able to buy bottled water for 50 cents, Gordons space for 3 dollars, and a pair of channel sunglasses for $120... here in the states they were selling for 300 dollars. Now this was right before greece went to euros. My cousin has said that costs more now... especially since the euro is slightly higher than the dollar. May I ask your age? |

Offline | Yes indeed, euro didn't make things any better (1euro=340,74drahmas). So inevitably we had to pay more for everything. As for Gordons space, you must know that alcohol is relatively cheap here in Greece....for Channel i am not sure but i can definitely find Oakley much cheaper in the states. Anyway, my point is that Greece has almost the same average cost of life, in the European zone, but it doesn't manage to improve the economic strength of its per capita. ps: if you must know I am 23 |

Offline | Hello everyone I would like to inform you (for those who wasn't there) for the 52nd Acropolis Rally and espesially for the Athens Superspecial which took place here in Greece inside the Olympic Stadium, at 23rd of june 2005 Here is a photo from the Olympic Stadium which for this occasion has been changed and a race track took the place of the football court... ![]() I had a :censored: ...wonderfull evening with a lot of tyre smell, loud noise from the exhausts, historical cars like mini cooper s , ferrari 250 GT, ford escord MKII 2000, Alpine, NSU, a lot of alfa romeos, 911 etc etcThe event were started with a Ferrari 360 Stradale and my ears gone to heaven  then the WRC came to the scene with a lot of ...will and then we (~70.000 people!!!) saw the competition between historical cars!!!. When the mini c s stood at the start lane against a porsche 911 (the old one of course ) all the stadium was on fire (the minis always will puts fire ). The handling was :censored: :P and the 911 couldn't got away. After 3 laps mini lost with half a car behind As you can see from the pictures below mini was flying... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More pictures with low quality and unfortunately a little bit far away, you can see by clicking the link Have a look it's worth it ![]() http://www.citronadv.gr/acropolis/ |

Offline | Kalhmera mini-kitten As always (delayed ) now I read your message. Fortunately there is always ananiou to give an answer . Corfu is nice for vacation but not to buy things for your mini. If you can read in Greek you can visit our website www.miniclub.gr , as friend ananiou wrote before, and we'll happy to answer you whatever you want ( hmmm ok, not everything ) Tell a hi to the coala sitting beside you ![]() |

Offline | Hey there, what's wrong with clubmini.gr? I've registered twice (or more) but I never get a reply from the system. I tried to contact the admins that the "contact" link doesn't work (as well as other links). Is the site operating? Thanks |
