MiniMeeting in Belgium

Ce 20 Octobre 2002, c'est le premier rendez-vous Belge de la Nouvelle Mini. Pour cette occasion, nous vous attendons nombreux sur l’Esplanade du Cinquantenaire à Bruxelles, face à l’Autoworld, à 11 heures du Matin. L’inscription à la Balade est Gratuite, seule la visite guidée du Musée Autoworld est payante. Après cette visite, nous aurons la possibilité de nous restaurer sur place avant le départ de la Balade qui nous mènera de Bruxelles à la Côte Belge en suivant les instructions du GPS de la Mini, et en spécifiant bien que nous n’utiliserons que des routes secondaires. La bonne humeur sera de rigueur, vous n’aurez aucune raison de ne pas venir des quatre coins de l’Europe…

On this October 20th, 2002, it is the first Belgian meeting of the New-Mini. For this occasion, we wait for you numerous on the "Esplanade du Cinquantenaire" in Brussels, in front of the Museum "Autoworld", at 11 am in the morning. The registration is free, alone the conducted tour of the Museum Autoworld is paying. After this visit, we shall have the possibility of having lunch in the restaurant of the museaum before the departure of the balade which will bring us from Brussels to the Belgian Coast by following the instructions of the GPS of the Mini, and by specifying well that we shall use only secondary roads. PS If somebody wants to meet in advance to go to the meet 'en grouppe', let me know I'll be coming from Hasselt(Limburg), and don't mind a little detour to drive in a colonne of MINI's on the highway

I made some arrangements already for Mallory Park UK.

The only thing it depends on is the fact if I can have a holiday from work the next day (monday) ... Otherwise it will definitely be Brussels...

thanks Daver and Morty; It could be a good idea to meet us on the way to Brussels, (I come from 'liège' via the E40)

I wanna give some explanations about the meeting: this is the first meeting we organise and we do not have the ambition(for this first time) of making a NationalMeeting with a lot of different activities or sponsors.
We would like to simply organise a friendly meeting, having a 'balade' all togheter ,exchanging some opinions and idea's, showing a motorgate of Mini on the way to the north of the country,... There is no inscription for the 'balade' except de prize of the entry(a guidetour) in the Musea (Autoworld) .

I don't know how many cars will be at the 'Cinquantenaire' on sunday 20th, It could be about 10, but I hope More and More Minilovers will join us. We do not make any différences,even futurMiniOwners could come and having a nice day with us, (for Pyngu and his 205 ... )

It'll a be Brussels and not Mallory Park

I can't get a day off the next day so driving to Mallory Park and using the ferry is out of consideration.

I do have to work all night then so I'll probably won't make it to the trip (tooo tired) ... But I'll try to come.
