| MINI2 Regular | Morty mentioned this to me in another message. Sounds like fun. My wife and I are both game to attend. Hopefully my car will be delivered by then. I'll keep an eye out here as more details emerge. Hopefully I can find someone to follow from Brussels to Liege. | MINI2 Newbie | Hello everybody and happy new year, My nickname is JNS513 and i organise the 15th february trip in the east of Belgium. I'm a member of the Club Nouvelle Mini (Motorlegend forum) and it'll be a great pleasure to see you in few weeks. The roadbook'll begin in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau (a village between Herstal and Visé so near Liège and Maastricht). The meeting point'll be the pub named "Le Cercle St Lambert" or the hall "Joseph Debruche" (i'm waiting for an answer) and we'll wait for you at 2.00 pm. It's very easy to be found : take the E25 Liège-Maastricht, way out Hermalle-sous-Argenteau, take to left and cross the bridge. Then, at the lights, take to left again, the pub (or the hall) is just 20 meters away and there is a parking in front of it and near the church. The trip will go through the Fourons, the Pays de Herve, the Fagnes and a part of the Ardenne. The terminus'll be the city of Spa, well known for its bath and its water. So more than 100 km and a lot beautifull landscapes. To be prepared as well as possible, i have to know exactly who'll come (to print some roadbook and to search for facilities for those who want to sleep in Spa). So, would you be so kind to post a reply here and a personal message to me to let me know the right number of those taking part to the meeting ? Thanks a lot and have a nice day. ![]() Have a good ride JNS513 Last edited by JNS513 : Jan 1st, 2003 at 04:43 PM. |

| Président of the CNM. | I did the roadbook this afternoon with JNS513, what a great surprise!!! The road is just great, a mixture of beautifull nature and wonderfull roads... A good handbrake's usefull (for 'fun') We have prepare a Challenge for the first part of the roadbook... More informations later At the end, a very good surprise: the Circuit of "SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS"... The meeting point is in a "Café", then after the Challenge, there is a break in a taverne where we can have lunch, and after the "balade", we are in Spa, where we can have diner in a restaurant called "Le Sanglier". We are also discussing with the autorities of Spa to get a free parking in front a the nicest building of the city: The Casino! here is a small vidéo (10mb) of our trip on the Race-circuit of Spa-Francorchamps (click right, then 'save target as...") http://www.club-nouvelle-mini.com/us...ncorchamps.mpg and those are 2 pictures of our afternoon... ![]() the Meeting is FREE! Everybody chooses to have Lunch and Diner with the group. JNS513 and I (and Oriano for sure) will take time for the restaurant in Spa before going back home. |
