We were again on the ring this easter weekend, and the officials approached Traudl Klink to tell her that the 26th July there will be an additional race and there is no more time for the corso to take place.

she had a confirmation on their behalf, but hey... it's the mighty RING-guys.. they can do that kind of stuff..

so she has to check to find another weekend with good races to have the corso to take place

I will communicate it here as soon as I get the info.

update:

the ring authorities declined the corso in events like the F1 or the DTM race... and other good events are rare..

especially as Traudl( the organizer of the corso) participates on several weekends in the clio challenge, the Beru top 10 challenge and the 24 hour race on the ring

now IF people come to the 24 hour race on the ring be sure to gimme a call, i'll be working in the pits for traudl

and there IS apparently a MINI cooper participating this year with no less driver than ellen lohr and Sabine schmitz !!!!!

Is there a good weekend when we can arrange a MINI storm on the Ring?

If we can't do a corso, can we block book the ring for a public session?

Or shall we just pick a date and turn up EARLY and get our kicks and laps in before the nutters arrive?

the ring for a day costs 8000 Euros I heard ( or was it one hour??)

so if we get 100 minis it should be do-able..

and that is only during the week or sumthing

I got the information today from Traudl that the VLN will accept the corso on october 25th... but it's only 90% sure.. I will have a 100% confirmation in about one month ( after the 24 h race)

Het is soms wel leuk om dingen te doen die niet mogen, heb in April al een rondje of 8,9 (>200km ) op de ring gedaan, echt geweldig, wel slecht voor de banden

Digi-Tec, Brembo's, K&N, wielen, onderstel... zal allemaal ook wel niet mogen, wil de auto toch overnemen aan het aan van het contract
