2005 Cooper S - What do WE expect!

Dear All,

For the Mini marketeers Mini2.com must be a wonderfull tool. Therefore let's tell them how the 2005 model should be upgraded so that we want to spend some euro's or dollars on our next MCS's!

MCS appearance
Personally I feel that the looks of the car are timeless. Like the Porsche 911; don't change a winning concept. Stick to the new retro base.

Performance
Now this is another story!
Actually we expect next edition of the MCS to contain a: 1.8-2ltr BMW 16 valve "M" engine, with compressor; Power around 210 kW / 280 BHP / torque around 300NM available from around 2000rpm

P.S. Current MCS engine is a charm to drive when using performance. Personally I do not consider it 'smooth' when low performance is used. Not a smooth take up in low revolutions. Is this due to the ancient history of the chrysler pentagon engine or is it a software problem? They told me a JCW kit makes this problem dissapear, shouldn't be there in the first place is my idea.

Handling
Active Steering from BMW.
Next to that active air suspension for an automatic adaptive ride and road clearance.

Dash
Without loosing the originality of the design, find a perfect spot for multimedia stuff such as LCD screens / Internet connections etc. Current factory issued navigation is a style drama. Possibilities to integrate these screens in the ceiling? Navigation display via a head up projection in the windshield? Holder for a mobile phone.

Quality
Do away with the plasticky stuff. Higher quality interior, no squeeks during driving.

Well this is my input, next one to contribute please!!

Well these are my
