As most of members speak english, I'll start in English, then translate in french.

Hi everyone, I would like to organize a monthly meeting in Paris, 1st meeting should take place on Saturday September 4th 2004 (After vacation). We could meet in Trocadero and cross the city to Bastille by Champs Elysées, St Germain... The aim of this first meeting is to show to the maximum of Mini owners that take part of this kind of event is a lot of fun and excitement. For the moment this is just a rough idea but after 3-4 meetings I'm sure this event will be famous (like the crossing of Paris by the Rollerskaters on Friday nights during the summer).

Salut tt le monde, je voudrai organiser un rassemblement mensuel à Paris, le 1er se tiendrait le Samedi 4 Septembre 2004 (Après les vacances). On pour se donner rdv à Trocadero et traverser Paris en passant par les Champs Elysées, Bastille, St Germain...Le but de se metting est de promouvoir l'evenement auprés des proprietaires de Mini et leur montrer que prendre part à ce genre d'evenement c'est beaucoup de fun et d'excitation. Pour le moment ceci n'est qu'une breve idée, mais après 3 ou 4 rassemblements, je suis sure que cet evenement sera connu (comme la traversée des Rollers les vendredis soirs d'été).

Having lived in Paris at one time I KNOW that you're all nuts when let loose on roads (I say this as a compliment, honest!) so I'm really up for this. Early next year though due to other commitments in 2004. Good luck in getting this off the ground. A cool idea

PS. The rollerskaters do London on Friday nights too. A few hundred of them. They even have a sound system on some sort of cart thing with the biggest speakers you've ever seen on it. Wonder how it compares with the one in Paris?
