Future UK or German spec MCS owners please read

Are you interested in leatherette interior, but can't order it? If so, keep reading as I have a proposal I would like to offer you.

I currently live in Germany, but will be moving to the US in about a years time. Therefore, I will placing an order for a US spec '05 MCS in the very near future and will be looking for a January delivery date (waiting for LSD). I would like to order Panther Black Satellite cloth with Panther Black leather seats, but this combination is not available for the US spec MCS. It is however available on the UK and German spec MCS.

I have been told similarly the leatherette combinations available on the US spec MCS are not available on the UK and German MCS.

So, if you would like leatherette and would be willing to order what I want, I would do the same and then we could swap the seats after delivery. I'll even make the drive up to the UK to make the swap

Anyone interested?

Looking through my German brochure it didn't look like Octagon was available with the MCS sport seats? I do like the Octagon cloth though. Are you interested in making a swap?

Why not? The one thing is that my Cooper will be leased, so I *should* clear it with the dealer - also, I get my car next month & I guess your's will not be ready until next year, would it pose you a problem that the seats are a couple of months old (although I don't smoke & eating in the car is a nono)

I don't have a problem with it as long as you don't smoke and they are still in like new condition. Will your seats be heated?
