Introducing the Flame MINI!

Fuzzy decided to do something different with his red/black MCSa:

And tomorrow is the first day out of the garage.

It was paint the roof, or get a life sized photo decal of Janis Joplin. The paint was cheaper, and I may do the decal next year.

Personalized plate of the day is "FLAME ON". Paid for it on line tonight, should be here in a few weeks.

Sorry for stealing your idea Dora, but someone was going to do it sometime. I promise not to drive it on any road in England, or Europe.

FLAME ON. At least I didn't get FLAMER.

Lovely shade of orange... imagine the whole car in that colour, with a black or white roof.

Are you leaving the mirror caps black?

OH, I fancied lime green a lot, but fear and common sense kept me from that color scheme. Bad enough to steal the concept.

the orange looks real classy and sporty, you made a wise choice and brave move Jim to get a great looking individual MINI

Individuality is what it is all about

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

Now would I do something like that?

Great paint job btw, and a very distinctive looking MINI Well done!

Going for bonnet stripes in the same colour too? Go on, now that would be really nice IMHO

Well Dora, your opinion means a lot to me. Bonnet stripes? If you knew how long it took me to get up the nerve to do the top. I may have to, Sherry wants me to paint turquoise stripes on hers, so I may have to practice on mine.

I think it runs in my family. My older brother had a brand new 1957 Ford hardtop factory painted in Screaming Zonkers Yellow and Black two tone. That did turn heads in 57. Now he has to settle for a Raspberry Chevy pickup.

Thanks for being a good sport about me stealing your idea.
