Offline | It was paint the roof, or get a life sized photo decal of Janis Joplin. The paint was cheaper, and I may do the decal next year. Personalized plate of the day is "FLAME ON". Paid for it on line tonight, should be here in a few weeks. Sorry for stealing your idea Dora, but someone was going to do it sometime. I promise not to drive it on any road in England, or Europe. FLAME ON. At least I didn't get FLAMER. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Well Dora, your opinion means a lot to me. Bonnet stripes? If you knew how long it took me to get up the nerve to do the top. I may have to, Sherry wants me to paint turquoise stripes on hers, so I may have to practice on mine. I think it runs in my family. My older brother had a brand new 1957 Ford hardtop factory painted in Screaming Zonkers Yellow and Black two tone. That did turn heads in 57. Now he has to settle for a Raspberry Chevy pickup. Thanks for being a good sport about me stealing your idea. ![]() |
