Green Cooper Aero Bonnet Grill

Hi i just got my aero grill. I was installing the upper part of the grill that connects to the bonnet but i noticed that the grill did not come with anything to hold the grill in place. am i missing parts to the grill? because it did not come with any screws or anything, but i noticed that there were notches on the grill that goes into holes that are on the bonnet but the notches does not hold the grill in place

Your old grill is held in place by some VERY cheap 'fake' nuts (they look like washers!). They are a pig to get off your old grill and if you drop one very hard to find as they are so small. I suggest you buy a replacement set of 'nuts' from your dealer. The aero grill thread has lots of detail of the best way to fit a grill (not as simple as you think), I followed others instructions and experience and fitted my aero grill in about 20 minutes. The bottom half is another story!
Good luck

As the good Lord has said, they're attached with self tapping nuts. If you have a look at the back of the grill, you'll see a bunch of little "stands" with 4 edges (like a phillips head screwdriver). They're the bit that the self tapping nuts will go on. Be careful - they're VERY easy to break!!

And cover your engine compartment with a sheet or blanket so that when you do drop the nuts, you will have them rather than lose them .
