United-States Removing rear MCS emblem

Greetings,

I am having someone put my boot stripes on (fears he will mess it up!) but it looks like they will need to remove the rear MCS emblem. They said that it might break when they remove it and that I should have an extra one available.

Anyone know how to remove one of these without breaking them?

How are they attached?

Still Smiling in Phoenix

Dental floss.
They're just double sided stickey taped onto your car. THey can take the dental floss, work it behind the emblem and essentially "saw" it off. Mucho easy - no breakage required.

New Zealand

In one of the previous issues of GoMini they showed how to fit stripes, including how to remove and replace the rear mini badge.

I could find the issue and scan it or something if you need it.

Let me know.

regards

As eddieboy said, a hairdryer helps alot. When I removed the badge from my ONE I tried with just dental floss - ended up taking more out of my fingers than the glue!! Once you get it heated up it becomes alot easier
