| MINI2 Regular | Lights! Its getting a bit dark out lately and I've been less than impressed with the lights on my MCS. I don't have xenons as I didn't get the chilli pack which seems a bit of a mistake now I've been considering getting some spot lights for the car but am I correct in assuming that they only work on high beam? Is it even legal to have spot lights that work on dipped beam? I want better performance on dipped beam so what are my options? Will I notice much difference if I get some aftermarket bulbs? If so whats the absolute best most powerful ones I can fit that are a standard swap for the OEM ones? Any help would be appreciated, I don't much fancy crashing cos I can't see where I'm going ![]() http://www.myspace.com/scorpionking1982 People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people |

Offline | Have a look at the choice of H7 bulbs at powerbulbs. I plummed for the philips blue vision as they came with whiter side lights too, their definatly brighter and whiter than the stock. Their only 30% brighter though as their blue. If you want 50% ones, philips, osram and powebubls all do 50% H7s. For 25 quid i was more than happy with mine, only had them a month so no idea on lifespan though. |
