Xenon Adjustment

I have a early '04 MCS with the "old" style xenon headlights. Does anyone know how to switch the headlamps to LHD for driving in Europe?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I can't find anything

It has been covered but I never found a definitive answer.

However in August I drove to the UK from Sweden and was wondering the same thing, albeit in reverse. The vague advice I found here said that the 04 xenons can't be adjusted and don't need to be. And that you cannot stick things onto the lights to redirect the beam since it'll melt onto the plastic and destroy the headlights!

Anyway, I did plenty of night driving in the UK in August and never got flashed once. With no adjustment!

I have not long got back from driving in France, and I was informed by my dealer that the old style xenons do not have an adjustment switch at the back of the light unit. They said that they could supply the sticker set to deflect the beam, but at the time had none in stock, so I went to my local car shop and purchased them from there.
I think they were called "Eurolights". Came in 2 parts - 1 round and 1 rectangular - used the round section, there is a little dimple and some horizontal lines on the light for helping out on the alignment. Done plenty of night driving and had no probs removing them when I got home.
Hope that helps you both.
