Offline | I think its about spots ![]() When I was lad I used to get spots too, most of us do, but with a good daily washing with an antibacterial soap solution the number of spots can be reduced. The main thing to remember is cleanliness and hygene, don't pick them, as the germs that cause them can then transfer to your hands and this will then make them spread ![]() Good luck with your acne ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | I really don't understand why grammer has to go down on the internet. As for the lights I had a how-to guide but I must have deleted it. I'll post it for you if I find it. In the meantime try NAM, there might be something there. |

| Hangin at the Krusty Krab | AFAIK, fitting 4 spots does not affect warranty or TLC. Wiring up all 4 WILL affect warranty but not TLC - this was quoted as the official BMW stance from my dealer. The reasoning is that 4 spots have not been tested by BMW and there is a "potential" for overloading your electrical system (nonsense in my opinion). Therefore, if you have ANY electrial related warranty claim, it will not be honored by BMW if you have 4 spots wired up. TLC relates to servicing, not electrical gremlins. Incedentally, I have 4 spots (OEM). The second set is wired in the same way as the first set, but you splice in the brown wire so that the high beam switch activates the two sets of solenoids. I also have an in-line fuse fitted into the second circuit so I can deactivate the second set of spots easily when the car has to go in for dealer work (thanks to mikeythemini). Either way, you have to get the spot lights activated by your dealer. Best to fit one set first, get them activated then fit the second set. It's up to you whether you take the warranty risk and have the second set wired. You could choose to leave then unwired. P.S. I recently saw a 4-spot car at my dealers - they had cut the wires for the second set of spots just underneath the lights. I guess this was so they could sell the car with the remainder of the warranty valid. Last edited by randap : Oct 27th, 2005 at 11:51 AM. |
