Offline | Paint Protection Kit installed on our 2006 Mini Cooper - w/pics Well after we picked up our 2006 Mini Cooper, within 24 hours we had a complete AeroShield Paint Protection Kit installed.. If i would have known about this product 5 years ago, I would have done the same to my 2001 Lexus IS300.... It is completely rock chipped in the front, my hood & bumper look horrible... Although my head & fog lights are perfect, since I recently upgraded them to 2004 lights. Of course the 1st thing I did was a Head light & Fog light protection kit!!! I had my good friend Francisco install the complete Mini Cooper Kit... He does many exotic cars, everyday cars, and tons of Airplanes... He does it all!!! I had him install the following on our Mini, with a few extra little things here and there: Complete Front Bumper, Front Hood, Headlights, Turn Signals, Fog Lights (Done in Yellow), Door Cups, Mirror Caps, Driver & Passanger Door Edges & Top Portion of Rear Bumper by the Trunk area. Here is a quick before pic and then there will be a few pics of the install, followed by the final completed install pics. Delivery Day ![]() Next Day ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am really glad we had this done!!!! Living in Southern California and be brutal sometimes. Many Los Angeles highways have many construction trucks with low flying rocks and there is always plenty of tire rubber from semi tucks which can really jack up a front bumper. I see it this way, by investing in the paint protection kit, in 10 years I won't have to pay thousands of dollars to re-paint the front of the Mini.. We can just have the kit replaced if needed.. Hope you enjoy the pics!! Thank You Joe Z ![]() Last edited by Joe Z : Oct 24th, 2005 at 04:18 AM. |
