Hi all

I own an 05 cooper and wake up every morning wishing it was an 'S', trouble being i cant afford to insure one. So working along with the motto 'if you cant beat them join them' i fancy making my cooper look a bit like an 'S' imposter.

So im in need of advice. I own an 05 cooper and want to fit 05 cooper 's' front and rear bumpers.

Sounds simple enough but the bumpers im getting are only the plastic main parts not the fogs or side lights or upper front grill. Ive looked at the how-to's but it doesnt appear to be mentioned there.

So what i need to know is can i put the lower part of the chrome cooper grill onto the 'S' bumper. And are the fog lights and sidelights the same on both cooper and 'S' enabling me to simply attach them to the new bumper.

On the rear, will i be able to use my existing black skirt on the new 'S' bumper because i only have the standard cooper exhaust not a central exit one.

Any help would be appreciated.

Get the bumpers and bits off Ebay! Just dont get an S badge or the bonnet unless you want to loose respect from the MCS owners.

But why make the car look like an S when you can make it look better than a standard S with the Aero Kit and a really nice center exhaust converstion.
