Offline | Cooper S rear bumper on One Hi guys, can anyone advise me if I can swap the rear bumper on my One for a rear S bumper? I have a new style MINI (November 9th!) and I understand that since the S exhaust is in the middle I will have to swap the trim over with my One. Is this still a straight swap, or have there been any changes? Thanks for your help!! Any major dude will tell you stroke my hair and call me Maude |

Offline | You can indeed fit a Cooper S bumper to a One, however you will need the side and bottom plastic trims from a pre-2005MY One or Cooper ![]() My brother's got Cooper S bumpers on his One - I would take a photo for you but it's gone a bit dark ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Newbie | I put MCS front and rear bumper on saturday on a 52 one. Really easy to do. Plastic trim off pre 2005 goes straight on (although it didnt look like it would) If its the same as pre 2005 Theres a screw under the rear arch trim two plastic screw lock things in the arch liner and a 10mil bolt underneath. I was going to fit the S exhaust, but havnt had time |

Offline | Thanks Martin. nice rear end Serby!! I'm having to fit a new bumper because of a little accident, and thought S bumpers look cool. I've only managed to source a rear on ebay, I'm wondering where I'm going to get a front and some pre-2005 black trim from now or whether it would be easier just to wait for some 2005 front and back One bumpers. Thanks guys Rach Any major dude will tell you stroke my hair and call me Maude |

![]() :: 32mpg woo! :: | From what I remember when I did mine if you use the S side sections there is a difference in size with the main black plastic section of a One/Cooper, so where they join theres about 1cm mismatch. I think its only possible to have all One/Cooper trims or all Cooper S trims on the bumper. ![]() Last edited by Serby : Feb 25th, 2006 at 06:27 PM. |
