Angry New Windscreen

Just been ringing around for a new/replacment windscreen for my MC.

Shocking!

cheapest quote is £488.00 ex vat!

Anyone know where i could find a second hand one?

The MC aint getting repaired by my insurance, doing it y self - done it before, but the windscreen is well expensive!

Why don't you let insurance do it.. Autoglass replaced my heated windscreen for £50 including fitting, from BMW it would of cost nearly £500

Quite right! Most insurance companies excess on glass is only £50 and it won't affect your no claims bonus!

the autoglass people told me it doesn't impact your insurance at all because they do so much work with the insurance companies. the invoice on my replacement heated screen with rain sensor was over £600 but like everyone else it only cost me the £50 excess
