Help! Touch up paint emergency!

I was feeling a little obsessive compulsive this evening and got out my liquid yellow touch up paint and a tooth pick and proceeded to re-fill-in every stone chip I've previously filled-in (don't ask). Anyway, I dropped the damn paint and a blob got on the black plastic. I had the brilliant idea of using nail polish remover (acetone), but it only smudged the paint into the plastic. Help? What can I use to remove the touch up paint from the black plastic without hurting the plastic or altering the blackness???

I'm sure there is a thread about this already, but I'm a complete spaz when it comes to using the search function here.

DIY Dont panic!

Not sure what you can use to try and remove the paint but if you have no luck the plastic trim can easily and cheaply be replaced. BMW parts arent as expensive as you think as I found out when I replaced the front wing trim due to scratched on it. Cost about £10 or about $15.

be very careful and use some thinners on a cloth not soaked init but just damp and wipe it over the area carefully is the touch up paint acrylic based or cellulose based ? make sure you use the correct type to remove the paint effeiciently again do not use a lot at once.
good luck i hope it comes off
