New Mini Badge!

The edge of my MINI badge (on the boot) has broken off (carwash I think), so I need a new one. £50 from BMW no doubt...

Anyway, how is it fixed on? How do I get the current one off, and the new one on?

Old one off with a hairdryer and some dental Floss!

New on on easily enough!

Wny not try, seemig as though you are going for a new one to go on the web and get a customised one???

I know a site if you want to know of one but it isn't a sponsor of MINI2 so I can't post it in,

Cheers!

Ben: PM me it!

So heat it up with hairdryer for a couple of minutes, then dental floss behind it?

It's double faced tape, so yes, heat it up and wiggle it off. You may need to rub the residual goo off with yout thumbs, etc.

Good luck,

if you mean the winged badge, it's more than dental floss as it's not just stuck on, it has 2 prongs through the bodywork.... if it's the other badges dental floss & hairdryer away

i think the winged badges are about £20 and the other about £12 ish from memory (could be wrong)

I can't see any screw heads in the winged badge...how on earth does it fix on if it's not just stuck?
