New light bulbs for dipped beam...

Hi all, did some searching on here this morning about the poor dipped beam pattern of the Mini. My MY2006 is driving me mad and it appears I am not alone. So, after consideration I went and got some Philips Osram +50% ones. Fitted them just now and will drive tonight to see the difference.

One question though - the main beam pattern is ok, not great but ok. Has anyone put these +50% bulbs in the main beam too - what do you think, worth it???

they say that a 50yr old needs 7- 21 times more light than a 20 yr old to react at the same speed at night....

(no slight to any older people here but it is a true fact from autobulbs )

so i say the more the better!!!

just don't go flashing somone.... you might burn there eyes out!
