Question Bonnet Stripes / Fog Lights

Just a quick question how easy is it to fit bonnet stripes on the mini and also does anybody know where official ones can be purchased instead of direct from mini?

Also does anybody know where you can purchase Fog lights from as mini are selling them for around £165 are they difficult to fit?

Cheers

Do some searches on foglights or spot lamps or driving lamps or driving lights...... etc

Loads of threads on this, however i recently fitted a set of OEM BMW spots to my MCS and i can definitely say the lights (drilling , riveting, etc) were not hard at all, .... measure drill rivet!

The wiring..... thats another matter altogether.... no complicated in instructions, although you have to read the OEM instructions several times as they assume a lot of things.... oh like you have taken the seats out etc....

Anyway BMW will charge £100 per hour and the job is rated at 2.5 hours..... i charged myself nothing and took a couple of days... only because i would start at 1 in the afternoon and it would get dark at 4, so i would say 6 hours in total...

The wiring is not complicated it is just damn fiddley, and please if anyone actually managed to get it through the rubber grommet into the engine bay without having to cut the rubber i would love to know how!

The things the OEM instructions dont tell you until the last minute are that you will need a heat source to shrink the rubber wire protectors.....oh and can someone please tell me what i was meant to to with the blind rivets? i just went to the local DIY store an bought some nuts n blots!

Dont be put off by this reply, as i said, its not hard just damn fiddley.

I keep meaning to do a "How To" guide, has this already been done?
