Has anybody got an S in the above colours. I only see EB/W and my dealer wants me to finalise my spec. They did me a mock up on their computer but it wasn't very good.

I picked up my cooper s today. It's eb/eb with aero kit and R90 alloys. It looks stunning. if you've got silver wheels then get eb roof, the white roof makes the car look to busy (too many colours). I'll try and post you some pics in the next couple of days. EB/EB is much better than white roof it really makes the car stand out plus there wont be many about as everyone has gone for a white roof.

No way a car with the same color roof as body (EB/EB) is going to "stand out" more than one with a contrasting white or black roof...at least not in the US. I think 99.9% of the cars I see have roofs that match the body color. All of the rest are MINIs !

Oh Well,

It's all a matter of personal opinion which is why everyone takes ages choosing their colours. In my opinion a white roof with silver wheels and a blue body just keeps the eye moving around too much when you look at the car. At the end of the day whatever makes you happy.

I have a EB/B on order hopefully delivered to my sweaty hands by the end of July, i know i am in a real minority liking this colour but that is part of the appeal.
Makes a change from all those Dark Silvers !!.
I think the Black roof contrasts nicely with the brightness of the blue and the black roof makes the car look lower because it blends with the door pillars etc.

Its cool being in the minority and long may it continue...I've ordered an EB/B with R90s coming in late August and I know it will be stunning

I was just at my dealer yeaterday & they had 2, count em, 2! Electric Blue/Black MCS. I had never even seen a pic of that spec, but it looks GREAT! I think it totally blows away the EB/W.
