Does anyone have any ideas/experience with the removal of vinyl from car paintwork, they've been on for about 3 months so will the paint still be a good match, any help would be grately appreciated, thanks

I had a friend that had vinyl on a New Beetle for over a year. There was some very minor ghosting once the vinyl was removed, but a coat of wax basically fixed that.

I had my MINI bonnet stripes removed and custom ones install after a couple weeks and there wasn't any problem with the paint. You should be just fine.

Get the hairdryer out and peel it off, unless it has been on there for years you won't have a problem. At least nothing a quick polish won't fix

Thanks for the help, the stripes have got little holes ion them where stones have hit them and you can see red through them!
