My Cooper has the Chili spoiler fitted from new. I was wondering how easy is it to change to the S spoiler?

Is the chili one bonded all the way along, will it leave marks on the roof that will be visible when the S one is fitted? Or are they both bolted in place?

Anybody done this change?

(I searched the forums, but couldn't find anyone that has done a straight swap, apologies if this has been answered before).

I've swopped one on a previous cooper, well got the dealer to do it

There are threads about somewhere...

The chili one was glued on all the way round and doesn't leave marks (or didn't), if it was bolted it was only bolted with 2 rather than 3 and glued..... The S one got glued and bolted in place.

You could probably do it yourself if you were brave enough and able to get the old one off!
