Offline | Chrome 'John Cooper' badge Where can I get one of those chrome 'John Cooper' signature badges as seen on the back of Monsta's Mini? I remember seeing them on a web site somewhere a couple of months ago, but can't for the life of me remember where it was. |

Offline | No it wasn't one of those it was just like the signature decals you can buy to go on the bonnet stripes except smaller and in chrome. If you look at the pictures of Monsta's Mini here http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthre...&threadid=10573 you'll see the one I mean. |

| MINI2 Global Moderator | They stick on but they are totally flat and the MINI boot isn't so not all of it sticks on properly. Mine has been on there for nearly a year so I'm quite please it lasted so long! Will have to try and find something else to stick it with ![]() the MINI has gone... |

Offline | Monsta This might sound stupid but Supaglue may well do the trick (providing you apply it carefully). When I restored my Lambrettas I used it to hold the badges on - they're still there! The only thing is if you don't get it right it can make a mess of the paintwork around the badge - the best option is not to apply too much glue. Anyway it's an idea. By the way are these badges made out of metal or plastic? |

Offline | Badge arrived this morning (£27 including VAT & P&P)! Excellent service from Somerford. All I need now is my Mini to put it on!! Sent John cooper Works an email yesterday enquiring about the signatures to go on the bonnet stripes - haven't heard a dickie bird. Not so good service John Cooper - and to think I'm putting your name on my Mini! |

Offline | Yeah I know you can order the signatures on their website - which is what I was going to do, but I wanted to clarify the delivery charge. According to the table on the web site this was going to be £5.29 (because the total order is more than £10 and less than 3kg). To be honest I found that a little excessive especially when you consider they could put them in the post for the price of a reinforced envelope and a stamp! |

Offline | Ginger I ordered my signature badge from Somerford and you're right that is made of metal (incidentally it is a Rover part) - but what I want to order from John Cooper is the signature decals - you've got to agree a fiver for the delivery of two decals is excessive! |

Offline | John Cooper Garages is expensive, I too ordered the signitures for my old classic Cooper and thought they were not cheap. My advice is if you have the chance go to the garage and buy them from there. It's worth the trip just to have a look round the excellent garage! |

| MINI2 Regular | badges Hi all Just and enquiry if your car is not a John Cooper Works why put a badge on it and then being a fake, it's just as bad as putting a cosworth sticker on a Sierra 1.8LX. just my opinion PS I think the mini badge is enough credability Last edited by Paul Simonds : Jul 19th, 2002 at 08:51 AM. |
