Hello,

If you have order the new chrome mirror of MS Design, you will have a bad susprise...

They are UGLY and aren't chrome but a dark grey...

Ms are doing 2 mirrors the one you have is called silver. Chrome is out in November. The reason why I know is I spoke to carvogue and thanks to their honesty saved my credit card. Chrome is coming but its Silver that exists at the moment. They explained there had been soome confusion from MS and admitted they were very surprised to see what they had been delivered as it wasn't what they had been expecting either or what their waiting list is expecting either. One interesting point they did make for you Cooper S owners is that finish is very similar to Dash on S. I rang up BMW dealer to ask for price of Chrome and got a bit of a shock £65 each for chrome mirror when they get in and thats each OUCH! Imaage below of silver/grey finish Carvogue sent me and before anyone says yes its not a mini!

Are the bmw mirrors heated like the one you have to pay £40 extra for, or are they just standard.

The bit I am refering to for the £65 is just the covers ie the white or black painted bit of plastic if you have a cooper. you pull them off and snap the chrome covers in place. I wouldn't even want to contemplate the cost of heated replacements!
