ive got a dark silver black roof mcs do you think i should get bonnet strips

Black bonnet stripes would look cool! I have black bonnet strips on my EB/B MC and they do make her look much more sporty!

Lol! Nope not following you, just using the New Posts button on the Menu Bar, shows whats been posted since I last looked! Lol! Bored sitting at home atm, waiting for tomorrow when we go on our first Mini Run round cheshire with 35 other MINIacs! Gotta keep myself occupied somehow, just soooo excited! Lol!

Bonnet stripes are a matter of personal choice, for me I prefer em with, but its something only you can decide! Lol!

ive had my mcs for 5months and i havent been on a mini run yet
i sent of for a ticket to london to brighton hopefully ill get on that.

Got my Jazmini in May last year, done 14500 miles and not yet been on an organised run in her!! All the local runs have been when I have been working or busy, but tomorrow I break my cherry!! So if you've only had the MCS for 5 months and are planning to go on the London Brighton then you'll have done it quicker than I have! Lol!!

i have the exact same dilema as you as my mini is the same colour....have seen a couple of mini's the same as ours with black stripes and IMHO i thought they looked awful,i think we have the wrong colour for stripes

No matter what you do with a MINI, especially a MCS in DS/B you couldnt make her look poo!! Anyways, as long as you love her, what others think shouldn't really matter!

A guy in our local club has DS/B and has black bonnet stripes with red pinstripes on the edge of them... looks perfect! It brings out the red in the JCW Brake Kit nicely. I am all for unique stripe ideas. I am about to add white/silver stripes to my CR/CR next week.

I also have MCS with DS/B and thinking of doing the bonnet stipes. Also thinking of getting wing mirrors red...any thoughts?

I don't have the red break pads but thought it would bring out the red in the cooper s badge on side of car.
