I bought a WeatherShield.

Click above and look for the FAQ on car cover availability

The Cover Craft comparison chart included in MINIAC's f.a.q. is the best to be found. You'll see that a dust cover for a garaged car has very different requirements from an all-weather extended use outdoor cover. Each material has different characteristics, weigh the pros and cons too see which one best fits your specific use. For instance, WeatherShield is an excellent outdoor material, but I needed more thickness to protect from door dings and hail, and less flutter in strong wind. I chose Noah, other pluses were good thermal insulation and UV resistance, nice for south Florida, but a minus is that it's bulkier to handle and store than WeatherShield and fills most of the bottom of the boot.

Just how thick is that Noah fabric? I am looking into getting a cover too, for ding protection more so than UV/weather protection, as I have to park the MSC on the street...

Would you say the fabric would stop scratches in the bumper from front/rear license plate frames /bolts from oher people parking and bumping? So far that has been the downfall of my currnet car, 2 grilles and 3 bumper resprays later...
