Offline | I think the only way to do it is to have the MINI roof bars fitted (which involves drilling into the roof). I have the mounting points on mine as I use a roof box quite often. |

Offline | I've just fitted the Mont Blanc roof bars. No drilling, fits really well and solid as a rock. An excellent piece of kit that looks made to last. I would definate recommend these roof bars to any MINI owner (except those of you without a solid roof). |

Offline | Hi Treo.... it was pretty easy to fit the thule rack to be honest. as long as it is Aero compatable. All i did was sibstitute the thule fittgh to ing bolt thingy with a circular washer from the hardware store which was big enough to fit into the centre of the track, then tighten them. i think i also had to file a bit of plastic from the front piece - you can see on the attached 1st photo - i think it got in teh road and made the mount not sit flush - once it was removed, all was good G ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MINI Cooper, Chili Pack, Xenons, heated washers, MFSW, ASC+T, |

Offline | Yes, I'm lucky and the OH's dad is an engineer so he is getting me some square washers made to the exact size. Saying that I've not had any problems with the washers I picked up at B&Q and the bikes have been up and down the motorway a few times on the roof. |
