Offline | UK Tracking I'm a bit envious of our US cousins ability to know at what stage of planning/production/delivery their Cooper S' are How can we UK folks know? My Cooper S is scheduled for a Week 33 Build... which I make week commencing 12 August (if MINI weeks start on a Monday) SO ...Are MINI ahead, behind or dead on schedule? How long does it take to build? Dealer expects delivery on the 27th/28th. What happens in between? Please...if we have a "mole" would they like to "spill the beans" Thanks An ever increasingly excited eBrit ![]() |

| Don't Lose Your Head..... | Hi eBrit, the only MINI tracking I can find is when you pop in to see your dealer.Just popped in there today and really wish I hadn't, I've been told our car is delayed. It was due on the 27th/28th Aug but the computer showing a 7th/8th Sept delivery to the dealers. ![]() I was told this was due to lack of 'S' spokes, and I was lucky as some peoples cars are now not showing any delivery dates and could have up to 6 weeks delays. Of course all of this could just billy bull from the dealer and I've been shoved down the list again. ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | It would be nice if we had on-line tracking in the UK but the dealers & MINI wouldnt like it It means we're not going in every other week to change our spec & but MINI stuff Imagine all the agro MINI dealers would get when we track our cars & keep findng out they've been delayed ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | Ah Haa! This sounds like bad news (especially as I've booked three days leave to drive our MCS from September 1!) I also suspect this is dealer whimp! Yes, that's expicit...after all, it is my birthday today! I don't know about you Huey, but I will go in "all guns blazing" if Snow's give me this line. My conclusion is ... if you are a "soft touch" you "will be taken advantage of". We have already sold are second car ...so there had bettter be a damned good reason (& I'm VERY cynical) and "externally verifiable" justification for delay...or a "lose/lose" confrontation/publicity debit.. Hope Snow's are reading this. I am FULLY aware of current U.S. [reasonable] production...and given my delivery was against a VERY relaxed delivery schedule... I won't let things SLIDE lightly. I hope we can have a very united front on this, Huey, et al? eBrit Last edited by eBrit : Jul 27th, 2002 at 01:46 PM. |

Hope yours is still on Target but I'm really miffed ours is going to be late. May be we can squeeze some goodie's out of them. You can contact me on PM or email me if you have any problems with Snows. We'll get the guns out. And have a Happy Brithday bud............ ![]() |

| Don't Lose Your Head..... | Bad luck eBrit Looks like we are both in the same boat on this one. Keep in contact mate, if you get any info from Snow's please pass it on. Also since you seem to be MCS spotting alot these days. If you see a DS/W at any local dealers can you let me know, as we would like too see one in the flesh so to speak. C U ![]() |

Offline | Looking grim...still no production date...accept X-Lites "will be quicker"...but not original date. Think it is MINI being a shambles, rather than dealer. Sold car, money in bank (and costing me first month loan interest), extra holiday booked.... Urghghhhh!!!! The famous BMW "just in time" ordering philosophy has once again turned into "far to late" eBrit (a bit ) |
