Hi All!

First off, it's been a while since i last came here & I've hardly ever posted, so i thought I'd share pics of my Mini with you! (sorry about the quality the pic was taken on my phone!) Will probably post more pics when i get the chance!

P.S. If Rakey is out there you might recognise this car as Prestons in Colne had it for a while before i got my hands on it!

I saw this a couple of years ago on the forecourt at Prestons, and I'm sure I see it around Bingley. Could that be so Vhyper??????

Thanks for the responses! I have to say it's probably the best investment i've ever made! I've had random strangers come up to me and compliment it! BTW I saw you as well Hat! Once on that road & once on the roundabout between Steeton & Silsden! (White with Gulf Stripes?) & yes it probably was me you saw in Bingley Maxdude (i actually live in Bingley!) I'll keep an eye out for you Rakey, i'm down at Prestons quite often (usually chatting to Oliver, James or Dale!) so i might see you! I'll try to put up some more pics (just gettin some developed!) when i get the chance! Also does anyone know what happened to the A-Team Mini that Prestons had? It was there when i bought the Starsky-mobile but havn't seen it since! In fact here's a pic! (again sorry about the quality twas taken on my phone!)

I live in Bingley too, well Eldwick actually. Look out for me in the all over black mini, black rims. Love ya motor. When I first saw it at Prestons I had to drive the wife over and show her it!!! Never saw the A-team one though!

not seen that A Team one before either but i like the idea of more TV show minis - anyone for KITT or the General Lee?

looks like we've got a few locals around now then - me & rakey are both in silsden

Sorry it's taken soo long to get these here but eventually! Here's some more pics! I've just got my Spotlights back on (had a problem with them but fixed now!

) Still haven't seen many Mini2'ers about though! Although i did speak to Rakey in Skipton the other night! (Nice MCSCW btw!) I'm still adding to this car, my girlfriend bought me the JCW shift lights the other day! i'm just trying to find out where's best to get an MCS JCW exhaust system fitted at the moment, (i'm wanting to put the MCS rear aero skirt on!) if anyone knows anywhere that'll do it please let me know, i've already got all the parts!

speak to Dale at Prestons, he will sell you the JCW exhaust, but fitting is a bigger job as you will need to weld hangers on the left side of the car to hold it in place

Massive coincidence - my husband (who works in Bingley) has just come home and said that he saw a great MINI yesterday with Starsky and Hutch stripes.

I did a search as I remembered seeing yours and found that today you'd added loads of pictures to this thread - so I could show him your car (looks great by the way

)

I think those look absolutly brilliant on your mini.
Follows the lines of the car really nicely - almost as if its a reflection off a really shiny clean mini

Spoke to Dale today, no problems with the JCW exhaust, he doesn't know whether or not they can actually fit it at Prestons (due to the extra modification work that's gotta be done) but he's looking into it. He says that if they can't i'm best going to MiniSport for it fitting! Either way it should look great when it's done! Does anyone know if the JCW exhaust enhances the sound or performance on a Cooper?

Also a lot of my friends have suggested that i should opt for the white S-Spoke wheels so that they'll match the stripe , but i dunno whether to go for them or not, i keep thinking it might look a bit too much! (I've already got some White Indcator covers & Mirror caps on the way!) What do you guys think i should do?

Here's some pics of my other Mini (MCSW) which unfortunately i have to share with my father at the moment , it is nice but i do still prefer driving my Starsky!

there's a general lee lookalike for sale at victoria mini (or whatever it's called these days) it was a fawdington demo and is now there, i'll look for a piccie

. I like the idea of TV show mini's... so we've got Starsky & Hutch , A-Team and now General Lee, KITT would be fairly easy to do: get a black MC/MCS, black wheels & a Red LED bar behind the front grill!
