Offline | AeroGrille & Spotlight Question Hello! Looking for some help please! Does the black Aero Grille fit straight on to the Cooper S without modifications? And if so how do you re-attach the spotlights as the brackets I have go through the slats in the grille! Any help on this would be v.much appreciated. Cheers, Al Vroooom Vroooom |

Offline | top bit fits easy, middle bit no, see here.... http://www.mini2.com/forum/exterior/...inks-pics.html as for re-attaching spotlights i believe you have to cut bits out of the top bit of grille to do that ![]() |

Offline | Hi See attached for pics. It is personal preferance as to whether you like it or not but I reckon it tops off the kit.... You can fit the middle section one of three ways to the bumper. These I have listed below in level of difficulty 1. Buy the Lohen piece, it isn't cheap but appears easy 2. Cut off the tabs and excess plastic then glue it on with Windscreen glue (I did this before I got the full kit) 3. Get the original piece and cut away the excess plastic but create new tabs from the excess (See in the sticky section of this forum for full instructions) As for cutting the grill, the OEM spotlights come with a template which shows what to cut away. As mine are PIAA's I didn't get this so I had to measure them using my stripes as the guide as to where the brackets should sit. This wasnt too hard as the stripes are a good guide but remeber to measure 5 times and cut once! If you dont have stripes to judge PM me and I check the exact loactions to cut, eg. One Hex up three in, |

Offline | Depends if you're after performance or looks. The OEM ones are not as powerful as aftermarket ones, but the look IMHO suits the car better - nice rounded shape, perfect size, etc. Aftermarkets don't look as good (again, IMHO), but are a lot more powerful in most cases - but also cheaper. |

Offline | Personally I think the size of the OEM ones are better looking but I couldn't justify the cost or looks (I don't like the chrome backs). I got the PIAA's because they are a similar size (slightly larger), have a black back, replacable globes, cheaper and I like actually like the stone grille's. Once again personal preferance... |
