Offline | Indicators I've got the Halo sidelights courtesy of Mikey, and the silvertec indicator bulbs. However, I've just seen my car from the front driven by someone else for the first time, and the front indicators (during the day) seem quite dim! I know the silver bulbs are meant to be a bit dimmer than the orange ones, but compared to other cars, and the rear indicators/side repeaters, they seem very dim, almost as if not enough power is going to them...my bulbs are almost brand new so it can't be them, and they were like this yesterday too. Anyone have any ideas please?! ![]() |

Offline | It may be the light is strong at the mo and they aint that good in strong daylight. Don't worry about it. TBH for a fair and accurate response a little video of them would be best as its hard to get what you mean... ![]() |

Offline | Just tried a video, but it doesn't come out well. Looking at them, they don't seem that dim, but just maybe not as bright/noticeable as they should be?! Dunno, will keep an eye on it and try some other bulbs if it gets any worse. ![]() |

Offline | Well to be honest I didn't notice a problem with these bulbs when they were in the Halos on my Cooper for a good few months! So you think the Philips Silver Visions may be a lot brighter than the Silvertecs? ![]() |
