Hi all,

how much do you think it should cost to get a mini approved bodyshop to spray the front and rear bumpers of my car.. i have a cooper s in DS... its 3.5years old and i was thinking it could do with a respray to get rid of the stone chips on the front.. and some person reversed their tow bar into me last night leaving a small but ugly puncture hole in my rear bumper..

depends really whether you go to a dealer with a body shop or a dealer that uses a approved shop. I know our local dealers approved body shop and got my arches colour coded for half the price than it I went through the dealer.

where are you from.

like said above, all depends if the dealer has a bodyshop or out sources it, if you find out who the paintshop is you can save more money this way as you aren't paying the dealer margin, and you can save more if you pay cash too

It cost me £100 for a rear bumper to painted and fitted by an approved paint shop

Check out Ebay, theres loads of bumpers which go quite cheap on there

i'm aberdeenshire based.. so john clark is the dealer.. i know they have thier own dealer group (vw,audi,bmw etc) body shop...

i'm sure they are expensive!!!

think as few guys have used Kinghorn body shop.

Been quoted £300 by an independant to repaint my bonnet and front spoiler. Used them before and they are excellent.

i got a paint shop in paisley to colour code my arches but i got him paint my gilrfrriend saxo when it got dinged
