Offline | Cheque roof decal Has anyone fitted a minisport roof kit instead of the bmw kit? the minisport is 1/2 the price but im wondering if quality will be the same i had the union jack bmw kit on my last mini and the quality was spot on and easy to fit. is the cheaper alternative as good? cheers Mr Bridger told me to do it..... |

Offline | The answer i expect is probably yes, its just as good. Minipirate seems to get a very positive feedback, worth a look minipirate.com I am having same thoughts about changing my decals. like the new big centre stripe Mini are doing. My dilemma is this and its a scare tactic by dealers but worth a thought if your car is still in warranty. As with any non official product it invalidates your warranty in this case paint. Risks are in reality probably low but..... Dealer made point to me that if anything does go wrong labour removal, fitting and replacement are all FOC. 2 years on accessories. I am leaning towards letting myself being fleeced for piece of mind.." you are buying service and product"..Yes I know I am falling for sales pitch. Ask minisport what quality guarentees they give that may answer if the saving is good value |

Offline | yeah im not suprised at mini/bmw saying that kind of thing. i doubt whether they could tell the difference to be honest though if you did have to take the car in. and i reckon the stickers will be decent quality etc anyway. i think i might just go for the minisport ones Mr Bridger told me to do it..... |

Offline | yes i have that on my target! personally it annoys the hell out of me! i'd go mini pirate-bottom line if a bird poos on it and you leave it on too long-bmw aren't gonna do anything about it. and i'm sure mini pirate don't have a nasty official mark cut out(which looks naff!)! |
