does anyone know if the paint the mini's get sprayed wif..have enamel coating on it?

or does anyone know the oem for the paint??

Are you having to respray a section of the car (or something to match)? The paint does have a clearcoat top layer. http://www.mini2.com/article373-mini...ed-by-bmw.html

I have a paint question too if any can answer it

Just about to fit an aero kit which is supplied in primer so I need paint codes

Looking in the FAQ's I found this : Chili Red 851

so is that the full paint code that a non BMW/MINI dealer could use?

and does anyone know the paint code for the black arches etc - the textured paint that is sprayed on the aero kit to match the plastic archesof the car?

Hi the black arches are not painted its the natural colour of the plastic, a good paint shop will be able to match the black you want, I colour coded my D/S mini with good results, seen some chilli red minis which have arches c/coded in red and look awsome.
