| Loving It! | What a Rip-Off! I rang around Mini Rydale in Birmingham today (both Central and Wolverhampton) and asked how much they would charge to fit the aero side skirts for me. The woman put me on hold and then came back with a price of £100 + VAT . What a joke!! I've heard its a 30 minute job so how can they get away with charging so much ?! Anyway, ... rant over ![]() . . : Atif : . . |

Offline | I takes 20 minutes, I have fitted 3 sets now. It's so simple, I'll bet there's a few peple on here willing to help for the price of a beer. MINI labour charges are ridiculous, and they'll charge you the full hour as well ![]() |

| Loving It! | One things for sure - I definitely wont pay Rydale that much money - so now I'm in the position of trying to fit myself (which I doubt will happen!) or pay someone willing to do it for me (DurhamFox maybe, unless I can find someone a bit closer to home lol) . . : Atif : . . |

| MINI2 Regular | very easy to do just make sure you clean the surface they are to be stuck on first. if you have some second hand ones make sure you remove the old glue as best you can first and use some no more nails tape to stick the new ones on. the best way to do this is to peel the backing off about 2 inches and fold it so it comes out of the skirt and into the car. clip the skirt on using the clips down the side, attach the black trim between the chassis and the skirt then stick the skirt down by pulling the tape backing off. simple 10 minute job really. |

Offline | yes is the answer. If you search the galleries or user profiles you can find pics of it, or if that doesn't work perhaps start a thread about the subject instead of posting for it in a thread about aero skirts ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
