hiya every-one, as the title said im new! i know very little about mini's only that they are gorgeous and i love mine to bits, every time i look at it i cant believe its mine!!!!!

However when washing my baby, as i regularily seem to do, ive noticed on the left hand roof stripe a cut away mark, it looks like a chip but i think its supposed to be there

I asked the dealer and he said that it was to show that the stripes are genuine... but being blonde and a girl im not sure whether he was having me on when really it was a chip, its been there since new, in may, so its definatley not some thing ive done.... if any one can tell me the truth it would be fab, n if the dealer was lying i can go n give him a piece of my mind!!

yes there is a tiny cut out mark to show that the viper stripes are genuine MINI accessory ones

A photo would help us to confirm this

im at work atm but when i get home i'll post some pics, my mini is called rupert cos i decided he was a camp posh boy, (sorry to any one called rupert who isnt camp or posh!)

he is a one with an aero kit so hes all sleek and gorgeous, pepper white with black viper stripes, i love him to bits! he was my suprise 18th birthday present!! and my big bro bought me personalised number plate to go with T18 JLH i absolutly LOVIT! i cant believe how lucky i am!!! promis will post pics asap!!
