JCW bulb types

Hi,

I have '05 mcs with JCW kit

and I am trying to change license plate bulbs

but I have no idea what kind of bulbs i should buy

can anyone help me out?

Its a 5w festoon type bulb (tube-like with connector at each end) JCW kit doesnt make any difference to this item or any of the bulb types.

For MINI I believe it is specified as 36mm length festoon. However (and this is true for festoons in general) the bulb holder can accommodate shorter and longer lengths that are close enough.

Did you want to change the color of the bulb or just replace a burnt out one? The dealer should have replacement bulbs and on a '05 it would be covered free under warranty.
