Unhappy Window scratches

I know there has been previos posts about this but i couldnt find one which had a solution.

Recently in the cold weather we have been having, i have found myself scraping the ice off of my windows with a scraper.
I have now realised that it has left lots of (some deep) scratches on my side windows.
Other than having them replaced (i am no longer in the warranty period) has anybody found a solution to get rid of these?

Cheers Tom

this is one reason i never clear the ice... i warm the car up and let it melt...

other than replacing the galss.. NO... unless a glass firm can repair this

This is what i expected i just wondered if anybody new of any kind of polishing substance which you could polish the scratches out with.
I have never had this problem with anyother car so i never though the mini would be any diffrent.
Have learned my lesson now though :-)
