| MINI2 Regular | Bonnet Stripes Question ..not sure if there's already a thread on this....but couldnt find any. does anyone know the best way to put on bonnet stripes?... im planning on getting an aero kit for my BEP MC and think it'll look a bit plain without any stripes..... are buying replica stripes any different from buying original ones from a dealer?...are the easy to fit (ie. have to get them in the right place...measurements...etc??) also...unsure what colors go best on purple.....black with silver accent or black with white accent?? |

Offline | Our replicas are our own measurements and i think you will find that with most independent design/sign houses. But we match to the BMW items as close as poss. We can custom make some for you if you wish - no problems. Phil. |

| MINI2 Regular | looked at the minipirate site. didnt really know where to look . what are they made of?...would there be a difference.....eg. if a thicker material chances of coming off when cleaning, waxing the bonnet,etc......any pics of them on the car would be great! |

Offline | Hi BEPea, we don't have any on our site (yet) but we do them. We do them all for the MINI Challenge and every car on the grid has bonnet stripes!!!! We use a cast vinyl which has a life span of up to 8 years. Its quite thin and a better material than the BMW one. If fitted correctly the wont come off after cleaning - but you obviously need to be sensible when cleaning any vinyl. We can do a number of color options and variations - just up to you. |

| I miss my MINI | Phil has some great stuff. I got mine from him. ![]() I used the wet method to set them in place and only had one issue with it pealing back which was easily solved with a hair dryer. ![]() http://www.simplymini.info/gallery2/...serialNumber=2 Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | S bonnet stripes are slightly longer due to the fact that the bonnet is a different shape re the Supercharger buldge. The fall-off slope on an S is greater than that of a standard One/Cooper bonnet. |
