Hi

Edit: Original thread deleted, changing this to an opinion thread...

I need to change/respray my wing mirror covers because mine have been scuffed by previous owner.

Which do you reckon is the best for my Dark Silver MCS, black roof and mirrors - No major exterior mods, just Aero Grille and all window tints.

Black gloss
Carbon Fibre
GP Style Red
Other - please suggest

I might just be boring and get my black ones resprayed.

I am in the exact same boat.

Dark SIlver MCS with black roof, black gloss mirrors. Painted bright red break calipers and black stripes with red outline (used to be white outline).

I'm leaning towards the GP Style Red...
Otherwise I'd likely leave them gloss black.

Anyone got any suggestions?

ha ha, yeah I am quite patriotic but they just don't look very good imho. shame really.

Tough choice aint it Tommmy. I really like the gloss black, it's just mine are scratched. What wheels do you have on your MCS? Do you have any pics, and, do you really live in Cambodia?

IMO the mirror caps are the best looking although i reckon that the gp red ones would look awesome.....its deff worth a transition from the dull black ones though!

Which ones minimad, the Union Jack? I didn't like the GP ones when I first saw them but I do now. I'm looking for a pic of them on a dark silver MCS with a black roof.

I did the red-outline on the stripes, to replace the old-white, last night...

It took almost 2 hours, and cost $4...

The wheels/calipers were painted... but the wheels are not done, we ran out of paint and left the job for this weekend...

The mirrors is my main concern... Gloss black looks nice now,

I also want to paint some parts inside of the car red to match (The 2 big bars in the center...

Yes, the GP mirrors would look good on there. You've made me want to paint my calipers now!

you can tell from the first picture there that they are off-colour in some spots... we ran out of paint =P

I'll be painting them with a slightly lighter (and closer to body-colour) paint when i do it as well.
