Primer/filler

Hi all

I have some very, very deep scratches in my paint (Chili Red) and have just got the "ColorSystem", aerosol two-pack paint with clear coating, from my dealer. When I asked about primer/filler for the scratches, the parts guy just mumbled that, if it's that serious, I should take it their bodyshop!

So, does anyone know what type of primer or light filler I can use under this colour coat? I've heard that there may be a compatibility problem.

Any advice gratefully received!

Hev you tried rubbing it back with some 3000 grit paper... then using a cutting agent and glaze, wax and seal it?

It might be just the laquer that is scratched and using a fine wet n dry paper may smooth it out.. then using a polisher and proper pads.. use the cutting agent on it and then wax/seal it up

You can pick up sheets from: Clean and Shiny Store (Powered by CubeCart)
